I thought about putting grease zerks in the swingarm/linkages on my GTS, and my
WR (seems Yamaha doesn't put Zerks in.) But after inspecting the seals and
talking to several technitians I decided not to put zerks in for a couple
reasons. #1 You can blow the seals out using a grease gun with these type of
seals. #2 If you remove the swingarm/linkage yearly you have chance to check
for wear and tear. Oh, on a GTS it is a very good idea to grease the FRONT
swingarm bearings yearly, specificly the upper front arm bearings.
