Hi Daren,

Here�s a general map for those wanting to do the little correction. I
checked again; you only need to remove two parts of the fairing, and this
shouldn�t take you longer than 30 minutes.

Take off saddle and gas filler cap.
Remove the middle grey tank cover (six screws) and the left grey cover
plate.

Now you�ll see the upper left corner of the radiator. Four inches forward,
directly above the left blinker, there is a little iron outrigger that
holds the black plastic inner fender / mudguard in place. It connects to
the frame tube all the way to the left, directly against the fairing, and
stands up like a knife.

The main cabling rests leading to the instrument panel rests on this, so
put something around the two cables or around the outrigger. You can
probably feel where it chafes against the cables.
