Come on Phil! :^) I guess I could give you the standard Harley answer: If
you have to ask................
1. Doubles the life of the chain......and sprockets, since degradation of
the chain exacerbates(look it up in you Funk and Wagnal) sprocket wear and
vice versa.
2. When you're finished riding at the end of the day, you're looking for
can of beer instead of a can of ChainWax.
3. At sometime, you're going to have to grab some kerosene or WD-40 to
clean the chainwax off the chain.
4. Chain oilers are cool!
