I,ve used the counting of threads on adjuster bolts
method. Tire wear has been very good at 10-12k/per
set of tires with very even wear. Original chain was
replaced at 39k only because I was about to embark
on a 6k trip. Bike has been rock steady stable at
120mph+. I've never believed my system was totally
accurate, but hey it works for me. It,s simple,
cheap, and no extra tools to carry on a extended
tour. The GTS seems to be happy with it to.
