SuperBike kit
....doesn't like is too mild...they are pieces of shit, as they are built
for the GTS. All they do is pivot off the the present mount point,
steepening the angle to move your hands back a little.. To get a feel for
what they would be like...sit on you bike and twist your hands about 10
degrees like you are bending a bar. With you body weight on your hands they
are a killers if you spend a few hours on your bike. I had nerve damage
much like carpal tunnel that lasted for months. Several fingers on both
hands went totally numb. I didn't have much choice since I was already a
thousand miles from home and had to ride home with them. I bought them and
wanted them to work because I loved design of the helibars on my FJ.
Anyone that says they are OK just hasn't ridden any real distance with them
and they are simply justifying spending the money.
I'm the first one to agree, the Super Bike kit doesn't look as trick as
stock bars. My decision was based on comfort and a increased feeling of
control over the stock bars. The bar position and feel remind me a lot of a
dirt bike and my dirt bike riding days. It really is comfortable....I rode
up to Gastonia , NC and back yesterday, with 6 hours of partying in between
, without the slightest twitch of discomfort.
