Suffice to say......ergonomics are not the same for everyone! :^)
I've got the Heli-bars and when used in combination with my Corbin seat,
it's PERFECT.........FOR ME! There are just too many factors in
determining personal comfort on a motorcycle folks. What works for one,
might not work for others.

I haven't had a chance to respond to this. I can't agree with John on this
one. I have a little experience with all three setups: 20,000 miles with
the stock bars, 100,000 miles with the helis, 15,000 miles with the
superbike kit.
I have the superbike kit on my '93 and the helibars on the '94, so I can go
back and forth between them easily.
I have more trouble with my hands going to sleep with the superbike kit
than
with the helibars. In my case, I think it's a nerve that gets pinched in
my
neck when I sit too upright. The helis are much better for me than the
stock bars.
The wind screen does not have to be cut for either setup.
For the record I'm 5'8''.
