AMA magazine had an excellent article that put these
stats in perspective. Most news organizations try to
sensationalize EVERY story they put into print. This
is an easy thing to do by leaving out crucial stats
like the increase in motorcycles on the road in
general (more bikes=more dead) and the aging of our
population (more grampas=more dead grampas). Like you
guys said, there is a lot to be learned form these
numbers just the same...
