You guys are missing the point of my original post. Someone in Europe
(Netherlands maybe?) said there was a different EPROM for the ECU that was
rumored to cure the surging. It would take someone in Europe to do some
inquiring, but if it did exist it is very feasible to duplicate the chip and
install it in our ECU. I lost their post, anyone still have it? or better
yet anyone in Europe willing to follow up to see if it is true?
My last on the subject if no one is willing to investigate.

If the surge is caused by the mapping of the electronic fuel injection, and
from what I'm reading that is the cause, then there is nothing to be done
without re-programming the computer, which is probably more than most of us
could afford!!
