Glad you're ok Bob. Did you have to wash your shorts after? :^)

Since George made a comment concerning a particular party not paying
attention, I recall hearing something from the past that is actually
more accurate.

Drivers, in general, look for 'recognized' vehicles, i.e.; cars, trucks.
Since there are so few motorcycles present on the road in proportion,
motorcycles get 'dropped' from the mental list, hence...I see a car, I
see a truck, I don't know what that is. OH! I don't know what that is,
but maybe I should be concerned....OH! OH! (Time for reaction extended.
If any reaction at all.)

I found this out at a tender age when I had my first (and only) direct
interaction with a vehicle. (The hard way.) The driver, (a 'she', George
;^) ), said she never saw me. I, of course, found that to be rather
amusing, as I had made eye contact with her at the intersection. EYE
CONTACT! And yet....she still pulled out in front of me. (Famous left
turn scenario.)

So....remember. Ride as if you are invisible. And that you don't count.
(You'll always count on this list though.) I know it shouldn't be that
way, but that's reality. And it might keep some scrapes off your elbows!
