I guess the battle has begun. I was hoping to avoid it. I just heard from Battley
Cycles in Gaithersburg, MD. Yamaha will
cover the ABS HU, but not the labor. I asked them why some owners had the labor
covered and some not. The tech said there
was nothing he could do. He said I would have to convince Yamaha myself and he gave me
the customer service number. I
asked for the regional rep's number but he wouldn't give that to me. I've tried
calling Yamaha USA but their line is
perpetually busy (it's lunch time here in the east - I will try them again later). If
I recall, John Schaff had his done at
Battley's. Have any others out there had their work done in the Baltimore Washington
DC area? If you had to convince
Yamaha to cover the labor costs, whom did you speak with? Does anyone have the phone
number for the Mid-Atlantic regional
Yamaha rep?
