I had the chance to ride my friends r1100rt to Cumberland Gap a couple of
years ago and in all fairness, the bike fit me like a glove. It was very
adjustable, especially the seat (3 positions) and that was the major
difference. When we hit the Blue Ridge and ice was in the trees from a light
rain fall, the heated grips were nice too. I installed them on my FJ as soon
as I got back from the trip. The windshield worked to perfection. lay it
down to go fast and crank it up for wind protection. Now, if only I could
get used to that motor.......
