Anyone one out there in GTS land with experience or opinions about bike to bike
intercom systems, please share your thoughts. I'm looking at buying an HJC Chatterbox
GMRS X1 set for myself and my girlfriend. Has anyone used this make or model before?
This particular model seems to have good features and is a lot cheaper than an Autocom
system. My main questions (on this model or intercoms in general): do they work
well?, is it annoying having it attached to your helmet?, how long to the batteries
last/and can you plug them into the bike?, are they still audible while wearing ear
plugs?, does functionality drop with increased speed?, are they weather-proof at all?,
etc. Any information you have to share would be much appreciated. Thanks, Derek.
