I think they were about $600~$700 each at one time (plus shipping from europe of course), but exchange rate can be a good thing at times. I'd email Wim Kroon to find out real availability, when I inquired some time back they were quite responsive. If I had the $ to spare I'd like to go that route. My stock ones are still ok, but that remote preload rear sure would be nice to go between, solo, solo w/loaded luggage, and two-up. Let us know what they say. Bob B.
ps one of our UK guys was the one saying they were being discontinued, but I don't know if he was talking to a supplier in the UK, Wim Kroon, or Ohlins direct. -----Original Message----- From: Derek Baylor [ mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ] Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2001 1:56 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Fournales for Yamaha GTS1000 I think someone has already established that these shocks were no longer available from Ohlins, despite what their web site says. If they were, does that price seem right to anyone who's bought then recently? The price below exchanges at roughly $978 for both. I thought I remembered them being $700-$800 EACH.
