I currently have a pair of Fournales shocks sitting under my living room cupboard. Bought them, slipped a disc and there they stayed.
Getting over it now and have started riding again, but I haven't felt up to fitting the shocks. Soon as I do I'll report back. A friend of mine has a contact with Ohlins. It came to light when we tried a bulk order for Thunderace shocks that Ohlins shocks for the Ace were being discontinued. Thought if shocks for a relatively common bike like the Ace was being cut then what chance the GTS ! So he enquired and was told that production of all low volume shocks were being stopped, this included the GTS. In future only minimum quantities of IIRC 6 would be produced and that these would be by their racing department. In other words $$$$ I believe I mentioned about a month or so ago that currently he has one Ohlins front shock for the GTS in stock and was expecting a rear shortly. So anyone wanting them better get in quick. Just drop me a line and I'll put you in touch (very good price too). I believe Technoflex (Wilbers) still make units for the GTS, but it has to be said that there's not a lot of potential money to be made producing them now, from a manufacturers point of view.
