It was a beautiful warm day of which there are few left before winter. I was all geared up and heading down the drive when the bike stops, just like Yap Hui mentioned. I tried spraying some more contact cleaner into the switch but to no avail. So I pushed it back across the lawn (through a little snow in the shady parts) and onto a cement pad beside my house. While I was pressing down on the center stand with my right foot and pulling the bike up and back, my foot slipped (because it was wet) off the stand and the bike came down and fell away from me. It was too heavy and pulled me over with it onto it's right side. Now I'm looking for a RH signal light and mirror if anyone has one and the bike has been retired for the year. The mechanic tested it and it may be due to the contact point of the ignition. They took out my ignition,drill into the tamper and check the contact, not much of problem with the contact. After doing some polishing to the contact pt, we put back everything and expect to fire it up without no problem but the problem exists again. Guess what, the bundle of wire that come out from the ignition,it had two wires broken off .
