This is just a report on what was done to my GTS (a ............ blue one)
by my local dealer (Battley Cycles in Gaithersburg, MD) to correct a low
idle (about 500-600 rpm) and what I originally reported as bogginess at a
start from a stop.

After putting the bike on the Battery Tender for a few days, the bogginess
disappeared, so perhaps the battery was a bit low.

The dealer replaced the spark plugs and then set the idle using a CO2
analyzer (I found a mechanic-installed plug in on one of the 2 wires coming
from the O2 sensor.) I had them change the coolant while they were in
there, since it hasn't been changed in at least 2 years.

Cost me $85.

I stripped all of the cowling off except for the top section before taking
it to the dealer. Partly to save me a little money and partly to be sure
that the Scott Oiler got plugged into the vacuum line again, as last time
they didn't do it and I had to take off half the cowling to fix it.

Now I just have to get used to the clutch release again and the fact that it
isn't a Ducati ST2, which I borrowed to get home on, and the GTS simply
doesn't accelerate the way the ST2 does. The Duc's clutch engagement point
is exactly opposite that of my GTS: the Duc's is at the top and the GTS is
at the bottom (which is where my Concours, also a hydraulic clutch) engaged.
