I am always surprised that it is as comfortable as it is, especially for someone like me who has a 35" inseam and at least one knee that doesn't like to bend. It is great on the highway, because there is enough wind to hold you up. In fact that's the first time I've really experienced that sensation and been able to identify it. It wasn't so much fun around town however, for that same reason. I've very little experience on that kind of bike--particularly a v-twin, having ridden 4 cylinder bikes for the past 20 some years. The bike is fast. Wind the throttle in 1st, 2nd or 3rd and it takes off like a shot--I'm always amazed at how fast HDs can accelerate in low gears. There seems to be less punch in the higher gears however...but perhaps I wasn't going fast enough to try it. It seems pretty stable at 80. It's very light in weight compared to the GTS, and quite frankly I think I prefer a bike that's a bit heavier than the ST2. I was unable use the rear brake at all, due to the fact that the pedal is in a place where I simply can't reach it. So I did all of my braking with the front, which seems powerful enough, I just had to remind myself that it wasn't ABS. The bike has some parts that are either missing or malfunctioning. It is missing the cover over the front right turn signal, and the horn is inoperative. The battery seems kind of weak, but the bike always started. Is it worth $7500? I don't know. Would I buy it. Nope. I prefer a bigger, heavier bike with less radical rider's (read more "sit up") position. Hope that helps you, Walt. (Say, where do you live?) Regards, Henry S.
