This was before my time with a GTS.. so does anyone know what was involved
in the conversion? If it's that expensive, I figure it must be quite an
amount of fabrication involved. :(

What happened to Alan Macias? I presume a nasty accident, but what were the
particulars? Did he ride outside of his 'envelope' or component failure on
the bike or someone elses fault?
