Early October Paul Koontz & I spent a week on the roads around Deals Gap. Lots of high RPM, lots of full throttle acceleration, and a high speed interstate dash home ahead of the rain - 5hrs running significantly faster than traffic. Both '93's, both around 20K miles, both bought as low milage used bikes, both running Yamalube 4. In 2400 miles I used 500cc of oil, Paul used not a drop. So from this it appears to me oil consumption is bike specific. Bill
