As mentioned by others, $9,000 is WAAAAAY to much for a '93! Now, a '94???????? :^)
In my personal opinion, yes the GTS is too much as a first bike. I'm not talking about power, I'm talking about it's 600+lbs. weight!! I know you're a big fella, but keeping a motorcycle balanced underneath you at slow/no speed comes only with experience and the GTS is easy to get in trouble with under those conditions. Its a 93, with 12,000 miles in pristine condition. Its being sold by a dealer. They want $9K for it. This will be my first bike (yes, its big but I'm 6'6" 350#, so I need a larger bike). My main concern is this a good deal? Second, is this bike going to be too much for a first bike? Thanks Mark
