Pete,
You must have missed my post of 2/04 - Zanotti Rocks - repeated here
again;
Well thanks to this great list and whoever recommended Zanotti motors -
Thank you.
You and they saved me some big bucks.
As mentioned a little while ago, thanks to Mark Bergman (Mark - you ok
with that big earthquake over there?) I found my front brake rotor to be
well under the thickness tolerance. After checking with my local Yamaha
dealer (San Jose Yamaha), my worst fears were confirmed that this was an
expensive part - $501!! + tax
Looked up an old email I had saved on Zanotti's and sent them an e-mail
this wkend to get a quote. While I was at it, had them quote the fuel
filter that SJY had quoted me $90. Try this on for size:
Hi Dave,
Here's prices on the parts you asked about. Retail is for each.
Your Cost is the total for amount requested for that item.
Retail Your Cost
ft. brake disc $477.84 $390.58
fuel filter 83.61 51.00
Totals $561.45 $441.48
All parts are OEM unless stated otherwise.

You can call during business hours: M-F 9 to 5 and ask for
John McIntyre or John Holland (724-283-5419)
This is $120 off retail and $150 off my local rip-off dealer who is
actually marking UP from retail. Plus saving me CA tax at 8.5% which
would have been another $50.

Just curious because I'll need a new front disc in the
near future, but where did you source yours from.
Thanks.
