Henry,
The two are equal at -40; just plain cold.  It's fun; as you go farther north
the windshield washer antifreeze is sold as 'good to' -30...-40...-50...after
that you probably don't need it and you will just leave everything run all the
time anyways.  You also have to cover the rad or an engine will never warm up
;-)
I (sort of) miss those 'real winters'.
No snow and it's raining right now.
