I second this as it diverts air up to the radiator,
but can offer no "easy" solutions to replace it with.
I have bonded nylon fabric to both sides of this piece
with a wetsuit cement to extend its life. It seems,
naturally, the mounting points deteriorate first. You
might try bonding layers of rubber gasket material
together until you achive the thickness/stiffness
desired. I've seen both pure rubber and some fabric
reinforced stuff that might make a good combo at NAPA
place. Also, I've found "Outdoor Goop Adhesive" a
reliable and cheaper substitute for wetsuit cement.
Good luck!
