Hi Rick ,

My GTS was burning loads of oil , until i changed to Castrol R4 , now it
burns about 1/2 a litre every 2000 miles or so , the only drawback is slight
starter clutch slip now and then , and clutch slip under hard acceleration
which i think is due to worn clutch plates .
If you want a bit more power you'll need to change to single S&B or K&N
airfilters and change the downpipes and box to a Thunder Ace downpipes / box
, as the standard pipes are to small diameter wise .
I did the above to mine and it went from 92 hp to 106 hp at the rear wheel ,
with a bit of a power band at 9 grand .
Of course you'll need to sort your ring job first as 70 hp seems well low .
