Brandon, I find this to be a really wonderful aspect of the GTS. I use mine all the time, one for trip distance and one for distance since last tank fill. When I'm touring, there's a sick part of me that wants to keep track of the total. And I'm not even a true long distance rider like some on the list. I was pleased to see the FJR has retained this feature. It actually matters to me. Phil
