I'm actually looking at the #580 since they have the strap on them and
suede on the thumb in case of a pesky shower. Thanks for adding to the
confusion Rick, but as Jay says fit is more important. I'm real hard to
fit on gloves so I thought I'd try the fax the hand tracing deal with
Thurlow. Being on the east coast, it's a bit harder for me to just drop
by (but maybe not next year, maybe a west coast tour). Can either of you
or anyone else speak to the protection of the Thurlow's? I like the
seamless palm, but the extra material on the palm of Lee Parks does add
to my confusion. Rick do you know if those gloves can be taylored by a
hand tracing or do I just need to give them a call? I usually can't get
a good fit on gloves that come in "standard" sizes (i.e., S, M, L...
doesn't fit all)

Lee is a buddy of mine and I've got his gloves too. (You should see my
collection.) They're nice, but different from the Thurlows. But if this
thread keeps going, it will last forever. There are many really good
glove
makers. My recommendation is that it's like helmets: Fit is more
important
than anything else. You know, if the glove fits....
