HELP - please guys! My muffler is rattling and I think I need to change it pdq as I'm about to leave on a 1500 mile tour of France and Spain (28/5).
I've trawled the archives trying to see what others had done, but couldn't find anything conclusive. The most definite posting seems to be John Dreuning's reference to BSM (and I'm trying to find a stockist in UK). There seem to be too many choices, and I'd like to, know within reason, what might work best. So, what can you come up with? If you've replaced the muffler I'd appreciate any advice you can give, please! What manufacturer did you choose? Was it a straight swap? Any tuning/jetting required? How satisfied have you been?
