David, Does the injection cut off work with TPS set at 0.62V? Mine is set at 0.68, goes fine, but I feel some engine brake lost when throttle's off in comparison with settings down 0.59V. Im afraid there should be a point near 0.59V from where TPS is out of range to make work the cut off function properly.
Im interested in that info published by YMH in 94. Could you possibly send it to me, please. Got her 1st MOT today, so I spent about an hour sitting on Blackbirds, Futuras and a sweet little R1100S. Now I know that the BB will be faster, the Futura is so light and the BMW will last forever, but none of them quite have the all encompassing riding experience of the GTS. The BB will get me nicked, the Futura will cost a fortune to fix and the BMW is crampt. However until 8pm this evening all the above held one thing over my beloved GTS. None of them surged..! Now on Saturday, David Jerome sent me the Surge fix that Yamaha published in 1994. The "set your ATV voltage to 0.620v." Took 2 hrs to remove the fairings, play with the ECU and TPS and then put it all back together. Now she ain't perfect..3.2K rpm in 1st gear still yields a shimmy. But damn, I can hold a constant speed in 2nd or 3rd below 5Krpm, and my right hero blob proves it. We just kept going round and round and round, lower and lower, hee hee hee. Hope to bugger of the France very soon, now I can enjoy the GTS once more. Regards, David
