The light means your oil level is too low.  Adding about 4 oz of oil solves
the problem.  Your oil level should be checked on a level surface, with the
bike on the center stand, and the amount of oil showing in the window should
be very very close to the top of the window.

That allways happens to me aswell. Higher speed and the conrol lights go
red. Nothing to do with the oil volume! I changed synthetic oil into normal
mineral oil (to solve the clutch problem if motor is cold) and will report
my results!
