An early issue of Motorcyclist (Sport-tourer shoot out) listed the GTS wet weight at Kevins number...637lbs. I wonder whether that was with the panniers on...all the GTS photos showed it with them on...

According to the service manual under General Specifications, (pg 2-1) the "basic weight" (with oil and full fuel tank): 615 lbs., and that would be for the 49 state model. The CA model is 617 lbs.
