Guys,

Having battled and sort of won with the infamous GTS surging, the little
bugger has now shifted to a major squeaking fit from the upper A arm
assembly on the front suspension especially at each lock.

I have archived the detailed repair guide provided by follow GTS owners on
this list (THANK YOU), so you can spare us all that extra email.

My questions are....

1) I have a service booked for the end of July is there a short term fix for
the squeaking that will see me clear for 4 weeks?

2) How much extra time should I tell my dealer to set aside to do the job
properly?

3) I am tempted to do this work my self, but fate tends to conspire against
me on these things. As an example, every time I had the fairing off the GTS
to adjust the TPS it would start to rain. Fairing on rain stops, fairing off
rain starts. Is this a day, weekend, week or long term project?

4) If I go for it, what special tools would people recommend, and do I need
to order any new parts?

Regards,

David
