<humor> Yeah, how dare you waste money on that $12,000.00 machine. </humor> Pardon me, but I sometimes get a kick out of people bitching about a $13 dollar filter to protect a very intricate and sophisticated engine. The filter gets replaced, oh what, twice a year maybe? To protect a 3 to 5 thousand dollar replacement item? How much did you spend for dinner last weekend? I spent $40 at a Japanese restaurant including tip. I probably go there at least once a month. Great salmon. And the miso soup is fan.....uh, sorry, got off track there. :^) Anyway, you spends ya money where yous want. I buy the Yamaha filter. It's OEM, it's designed specifically for our bikes.
