Forget getting new plastics....get it painted with one of those color changing paints like I did. Sherwin Williams Multi-tones Red-Blue!!! Then you can have the best of both worlds (the fast red '93 with the sex appeal of the blue one), like Kevin Hawkins and I do. Trust me, if you think the GTS brings people over to ooogle now, you should see them swarm when they see it in these colors. I've really enjoyed having the bike this color and think that it added even more character to a very outstanding motorcycle.
I have broken several plastic parts on it over the years and have had poor luck with getting good color matches from Yam., or even custom blended repaints for that matter. This paint is also very forgiving when it comes to repair matches and blending. If you get yourself a good bodyman, he'll probably even be able to repair your plastics. Mine fell over on the RIGHT side last year, and I had the mirror and signal light repaired and then repainted....perfect. I have pictures. If your going to switch bikes, I'd say make sure you have a definite reason, that way you'll feel good after it's all done. Unless you have lots of mooolaaaa, then buy a couple of everything!!!
