Dave - I just got back from a hiking trip in the Sierra mountains (rode the GTS with 
my backpack strapped to the back) . . . and just read your accident report.  Was 
EXTREMELY glad to hear that you're relatively okay . . . that's what's important.  
Btw, how is the wrist?

Well my Col Thin Air TT rally didn't get very far, actually only about
75 miles from home heading east on Ca 88 when I learned some hard, but
valuable lessons . . . (snip, snip)
Was looking forward to a great ride and time off, but best laid plans
get way laid by stupid people (in this case 2 young women with 2 young
children), especially if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time.
