Change it? Shit, you're supposed to change it? Heh, I've had the bike for 1 1/2 years. 36k on the waterpump. 21k of that is my doing. I remember looking at the coolent a few times but can't recall ever changing it until I rebuilt the top end a couple months back. I used some brand called Zerex. Not mc specific, safe for all motors blah blah. I did put in a pretty high mix to water. Maybe 20% water. The failure occured while doing 100ish in 100+ tempuratures. Now I'm thinking that maybe having too much coolent (allows for higher temps) could have been a contributing factor?? opps btw, Re: the top end rebuild. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. Still some oil consumption but not too bad. I burned apx. 2 quarts on the 5k mile tour. Alot of that hard on the gas in high heat. Rick
