What we were measuring, in addition to basic seat height when the motorcycle is sitting on level ground on the wheels and no stand, was also the distance the between the axle and the seat while both bikes were sitting on the centerstand. Even unloaded, his axle was closer to the seat than mine. Btw, Fl Kev is correct, they are both 93's. His had 20K miles on it when he bought it so its history is a mystery, so to speak. I suspect something is wrong in the suspension department causing his swingarm to not return fully. Someday we are going to look into that and find out what's what.
