By far the best ABS system since it allows stops of approximately 90 ft. from 60 mph according to the moto mags of the time. Try that on ANY ABS equipped bike today. The best ABS equipped bikes today average 120 ft or more. I'll bet any newer ABS equipped bike probably uses different metal technologies which aren't as prone to rust when some water get in the system. Also I bet the maintenance schedule calls for a routine brake fluid flushing. Glad to see them putting on a larger front rotor as well since the current FJR is just average in stopping distances. The GTS beats them all (braking distance) even after 10 years of development.

As long as the new HU doesn't suffer from corrosion due to the presence of moisture in the fluid, there is nothing to be embarrassed about.
