Dear Friends Just back from France minus my GTS -ECU decided the engine should consume as much petrol as possible !!! bike went fine for 3,000 miles but the started using petrol at mega consumption. Luckily got a bike shop where a guy had owned two GTS's and would you believe had one in the Shop, they were able to swap over ECU's and the problem disappeared (having tried other things as well) Price in France for new ECU 1800 euro, a guy has told me here in Ireland a repair should be possible for about 400 euro, the repair would Actually be done in the UK (waiting for address). My question is has anyone any experience with repairs to the ECU ??? Any advice would be very much appreciated
