I remember that happening to my XS1100 when under load. Otherwise, it wouldn't happen. I think it has something to do with the gearbox being in constant mesh, sometimes things won't align quick enough while under load, seems I read or heard that somewhere....
Not sure though. Could be urban legend. Or similiar. Brandon
