I just cleaned them assembled first and that seemed to work. I'm the second owner of my GTS (had a whole 1700 mi on it then) and it sat for a while like many others did. I think that along with the nasty brake fluid that came out were my issue. Yes 8Kmi seems rather short, but the uneven wear shows something is up. Bob B.
