George,
Sorry you had the problem. One good place is under the headlight where
the headlight adjusters are. That's part of the subframe there. Makes
for a nice place for tiedowns. Also if you have a Canyon Dancer you can
just use that over the handlebar ends and use straps there. If you don't
have a canyon dancer you might want to stop at any cycle shop along the
way that's open and get one, the straps under the headlight works but
the canyon dancer across the bars is more stable. Bob B.

.....my GTS that is. She stranded me today at the North Ga mountains and
is now parked close to Clayton Ga. Thank God friends picked us up and
took us home (5.5 hour drive to Alabama). And what a bummer since it was
a great day to ride. Almost acts like it gets no fuel or no spark. It
rained the night before but I didn't see evidence water causing a
problem. May also be the antitheft device, I had to spray graphite to
get the key to turn reliably before the trip.

Tomorrow I'll go pick her up with the trailer but want to know where to
tie down from in the front. The back I have covered, I'll use the
Krauser mounting brackets but the front is another story. Any directions
or constructive ides on how to get her started will be appreciated.

Bummed George
