Having the GTS less than 2 months, I'm still trying to get use to its
little quirks. I just noticed yesterday that the water temp light isn't
working...right about the time I noticed this strong smell of radiator
fluid. It smelled like it was overheating, and I had only made a 5
minute ride to Taco Bell. Two hours later, the cap was still pretty
hot, and I wasn't in a hurry to crack it open. Today I did, only to
find that the water is full. The plastic overflow res seemed to be
empty. But why would that smell overheated? And does the res take pure
coolant or a mix? Ideas?

And is there an easy way to get to that dummy light? I do have a thick
manual, but I haven't found it very helpful on matters yet. Any advice
is appreciated.
