George, Glad to hear you found the problem. I had the same starting problem after leaving the GTS sitting for 6-8 weeks after riding 300mi in pouring rain. It would turn over but not fire. The fix was to fully charge the battery, then depress the starter with the throttle WFO till she eventually started. No problems after that.
I've got the intermittent ABS light problem that I haven't tried to diagnose yet. Andy
