George, it could be the refueling overspill drain
tube.
It connects to the metal tube coming from the top
center body part. [Simulated top of fake gas tank]
[Next to fuel hatch door]
This tube is VERY important to be hooked up. If gas
tank is over filled without it, gas will flow over
hot engine and ignite. Check it out. Hope this helps.
