George, it could be the refueling overspill drain tube. It connects to the metal tube coming from the top center body part. [Simulated top of fake gas tank] [Next to fuel hatch door] This tube is VERY important to be hooked up. If gas tank is over filled without it, gas will flow over hot engine and ignite. Check it out.
