Georgie: The Beemer's doing fine, thanks. It is SO nice to have a sit up riding position, that handles! And at least for the time being, I'm able to keep the GTS. In fact, I rode it for the first time last weekend--on Saturday, after having had it sit in the garage since August, when I picked up the Beemer. She's been on the battery tender all that time, and, no surprise here, started right up--less than 2 seconds on the starter! I put air in the tires and off we went. The next day, after having ridden a grand total of 47 miles, I felt like I'd been in a fight between Tyson and Holyfield, and I do mean BETWEEN. That was last Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon, I rode the RTP 125 miles (checking out a new R4K route for the Columbia ride next year) and on Monday, I felt fine--no major aches. Big difference between the 2. Winky
