Henry,

Teh GS850 was first registered in June 88.  They were still available in the
UK until early 89, however I think Suzuki actually stopped production in 87
and that the ones available here were back stock.

Must admit I like the GS range, the over 550 ones anyway.  I've had 4 and
they have never let me down.  The 850 sits outside in all weathers and
always starts first push of the button and its an ideal tool for lugging the
sidecar.  Wish I'd discovered sidecars a bit earlier, just stick the kids in
the chair and you can't here them arguing with each other.
