A-men to that brother Bob !! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:RSRBOB@;AOL.COM] Sent: Thursday, November 07, 2002 11:50 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: ABS Maintenence/practice
Actually, it was with a former service manager and I that we were comparing brakes and I found I did stop about 10 feet or so quicker without going into ABS than just jamming the brakes on full front and rear all at one time. My favorite part about having ABS is the mental security of knowing I can not lock the wheels if I do panic and get into the brakes too hard. I try to stop just short of ABS when I need to, but it is the mental security of knowing I am not on the edge of disaster. For me, that is the advantage of ABS.
