Like another lister mentioned....if you turn the key all the way to the left the park lights will come on. I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to install a flasher (maybe from the Christmas tree lights) inline with the park lights. So instead of being on constantly, they flash. The only problem I see is that if you have roadside troubles and need to use the lights, then you might have to leave your key in the bike (can't remember if the key is removable in that position).
