Yes, the key is removable from the key switch in the "parked" position. Daren, You have raised an interesting and inexpensive solution to Peter's question. I'm sure that someone on the list has a strong electrical background and could recommend what size diode could be put in line. Since "parked" is a specific position on the key switch it should be easy to isolate the "hot" lead where this capacitor would be integrated.
The problem that I see regarding the FJR 1300 flasher switch assembly is that it most likely will not have a place to connect to the electrical harness containing the signal leads. Just my opinion. Fluff Like another lister mentioned....if you turn the key all the way to the left the park lights will come on. I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to install a flasher (maybe from the Christmas tree lights) inline with the park lights. So instead of being on constantly, they flash. The only problem I see is that if you have roadside troubles and need to use the lights, then you might have to leave your key in the bike (can't remember if the key is removable in that position). GWN Daren PS. We have a guy in the office who drives a Miatta. We call it the jelly bean. Quoting Peter Maggiacomo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hey Guys, You're loosing it.
