What you've got to remember is that your driveway at home is probably wider than these roads we have in England. Plus you have to negotiate the gales, hail, pestilence, foot and mouth, snow, speed cameras, tourists with caravans, sheep, farmers with their tractors and trailers dumping half the field they have just vacated on the road, and of course the police, who are far too busy chasing speeding (hah, chance would be a fine thing!) bikes to go after real criminals. All of which can make 135 miles seem like an incredibly long journey (plus we drive on the other side if the road!). Doug L :-)
